2025 tourism winners celebrated at awards

The Suffolk & Norfolk Tourism Awards were recently held at Norwich Castle.

Eleven businesses and individuals were recognised at the awards, celebrating the very best tourism and hospitality attractions, venues and experiences in the region.

The awards are the first major celebration since Visit East of England (VEE) – the official tourism body for Suffolk and Norfolk – was accredited as a Local Visitor Economy Partnership (LVEP) by VisitEngland.

VEE organised the awards, hosted by TV presenter David Whiteley.

Winners and one runner-up from all but two categories automatically go forward to compete at the national VisitEngland Awards for Excellence, in June.

Launching the ceremony, Executive Director of Visit East of England, Pete Waters, praised the exceptional standard of candidates.

He also reflected on the opportunities offered by LVEP status, adding that although it was clear these are challenging times, he felt positive and heartened by the incredible tenacity and entrepreneurialism shown within the sector.
