Suffolk business, Evolve Business Solutions has announced the acquisition of Protocopy, managed print division of Rightprint Ltd, expanding its reach into Norfolk as part of ambitious growth plans.
A spokesman for the firm – which leases printers, photocopiers and scanners – said: “The acquisition of Protocopy is a natural step in Evolve’s expansion journey.
“By taking on the reputable Norfolk-based business, which was established in early 2000’s, Evolve will be able to grow and strengthen its customer base and improve their speed of service delivery, particularly in engineering support and toner deliveries in Norfolk.
“Customers will also benefit from Evolve’s focus on proactive maintenance and its reputation for excellent service.
Evolve’s managing director Ross Cracknell said: “Service is the heartbeat of what we do, and we have grown our headcount to ensure that remains excellent as the business expands.
“Buying Protocopy allows us to reach more customers, grow our customer base and serve the existing Norfolk market even better than before.
“Protocopy fits perfectly with our values and service-led approach, and we are committed to delivering the excellent service and top-quality machines their customers are used to.”
Previous owner Nicholas Woodward added: “I am confident that under Evolve’s management, all customer accounts will continue to be well supported. Their service mirrors our own, and I believe this is the right move for our customers.”
Since launching in 2020, Evolve has achieved significant financial growth, averaging 48% in turnover every year for the last three years.
Headcount has also doubled and the business has moved to a larger, new office space.
