ABSOLUTE CLIENT FOCUS: the Hewitsons ethos

Hewitsons is committed to providing Absolute Client Focus – our guiding ethos which has contributed to 100% of clients in a recent satisfaction survey stating that they would use us again and/or recommend our services, writes Colin Jones, managing partner of Hewitsons LLP.

Pandemic or no pandemic, this commitment to excellence is in our DNA and something each and every one of our staff members is dedicated to.

It is the commitment of our staff, coupled with our investment in IT and the calibre and professionalism of our team, which enabled 95% of the firm’s workforce to swiftly and efficiently mobilise to home working in 2020. This ensured the same exemplary levels of client service were maintained, whilst also safeguarding the health and wellbeing of our staff.

At Hewitsons, we conduct regular client satisfaction surveys, and the most recent data speaks for itself:

  • 100% of clients rated the approachability of the team as good/excellent
  • 93% rated the general level of service as good/excellent
  • 93% rated the quality of work as good/excellent
  • 86% said they received value for money
  • 84% rated the speed and efficiency of service as good/excellent

This success can be attributed to our guiding ethos of Absolute Client Focus. It is the principle that informs our approach to our work for businesses, private individuals and institutions.

As part of our focus, we assign clients a primary contact at the firm. This is done to ensure that there is only one point of contact for the client and to help maintain continuity in their matter.

For bigger clients that might have a wide range of matters, a client care partner will be assigned to them. This partner is the first port of call whenever the client has any requests or enquiries and the client care partner will ensure that their matter is handed to the correct team and will ensure to keep the client updated.

Hewitsons also attributes its success to its tremendous staff training. Within the firm, we keep all staff up to date with regular IT training seminars, which have been conducted virtually over the past 12 months. =We also provide several avenues for career progression within the firm.
