Bloor Homes’ Eastern region has relocated to a new regional office, marking nearly a century of housebuilding in East Anglia.
The move cements the company’s long-standing presence in the area, having transitioned from its original base in Sudbury and former location off Skyliner Way in Bury St Edmunds.
Situated less than one mile from the previous office, Horizon House, offers more office space across three floors, designed to accommodate the team’s evolving needs.
With a local workforce exceeding 50 office-based employees and a network of construction professionals across the region, the company sees the move as testament to an ongoing commitment to the Bury St Edmunds community and surrounding areas.
Regional managing director Terry Tedder said: “The entire Bloor Eastern team is very excited about our move to Horizon House.
“Having been based in Bury St Edmunds for many years, we recognised that this new space needed to enhance our operational capabilities and reflect modern working practices.
“The acquisition of Horizon House provides an excellent environment for our staff and allows us to better serve our customers and communities.”
The regional team is overseeing development sites across Suffolk, Norfolk, and Essex. Career opportunities in the Eastern region are listed online at: bloorhomes.com/careers.
Bloor Homes built its first home in 1969, and remains a family owned and run housebuilder.
It is recognised as a five-star builder by the Home Builders Federation’s (HBF) customer satisfaction survey 2025.
Head office is based in Measham, Leicestershire, with nine regional offices and over 70 developments across England.
