“This role will enable me to use that insight while applying my knowledge and practical experience to provide comprehensive advice to clients and bolster the team’s ability to handle intricate cases.

“I am eager to contribute to the team’s success and help expand our range of services.”

Law firm merger

Attwells Solicitors have acquired the Lightfoot Westcott firm, in Woodbridge.

A spokesman says the move provides Lightfoot Westcott with greater capacity and support to undertake conveyancing, wills, probate and powers of attorney, along with many other   aspects of legal services.

Attwells sees the acquisition as a milestone in its expansion strategy to serve a broader client base across East Anglia. The integration of Lightfoot Westcott’s experienced team will bolster Attwells’ existing practice areas where Lightfoot Westcott have already built a strong reputation.

Nick Attwell said, “We are thrilled to welcome Lightfoot Westcott to the Attwells’ family. This merger is a testament to our commitment to growth and excellence. We look forward to combining our strengths to better serve Woodbridge and its surrounding area.”

The focus is on ensuring a seamless transition for all clients and staff. James Lightfoot and Jeremy Westcott will remain in the Woodbridge office trading under their names. They will be joined by Attwells Head of Suffolk Conveyancing, Stuart Milbourne, and his colleague and Woodbridge resident, Josh Barber.
