Business support service New Anglia Growth Hub provides a lifeline for the regional economy, delivering one-to-one support, grant funding, training and bespoke high growth programmes.
Since its launch 10 years ago, it has had a significant impact on businesses in Norfolk and Suffolk, adding more than £1billion of value, including safeguarding and creating new jobs.
The hub has now appointed two highly experienced advisers to expand the team’s expertise in retail and high growth.
Spokesperson James Moore said: “Expanding the team and our expertise provides a huge opportunity for us to support a wider range of businesses and offer in-depth knowledge to an ever-growing range of businesses.
“We’re delighted to have Roxy Seabourne and Alex Hemen join us, who also have excellent local knowledge and decades of own business experience.
“Our team is actively reaching out to businesses seeking support and who may be eligible to join our High Growth Programme which is free to participants.
“Business owners and managers will gain access to expert analysis of their business and its prospects, and our advisers will help them identify and develop plans that will yield the strongest, most sustainable growth.”
Roxy is a high growth specialist with more than 15 years of experience. As an entrepreneur and business owner, she has a deep understanding of what is required to develop and grow a business in a structured way.
She said, “It’s great to be part of the Growth Hub and meeting with motivated business owners who are seeking to dial up their growth.
“Using proven methods, I look forward to getting the clarity and direction people need to make that leap. Being well-connected in the local and national business community will be of benefit to our clients so we invite ambitious business owners to get in touch.”
Alexandra, meanwhile, has built a successful career in retail operations and strategy.
In her most recent role as Head of Retail for Adnams PLC, her remit was to deliver growth and excellent customer service. Passionate about operational efficiency and digitisation, her areas of expertise include retail, operational productivity, marketing strategy and FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) market.
Alexandra said, “Norfolk has an impressive, fast-growing business ecosystem and world-class entrepreneurs. There is a true opportunity to help businesses grow and thrive. I’m very excited to join Norfolk County Council as a New Anglia Growth Hub team member.
“I particularly look forward to learning about the business support needs in our county and provide skills and experience in the journey to sustainable economic growth.”
