At CamSafe, we endeavour to give back to our community and are proud to be supporting the East Anglian Air Ambulance, aiming to raise money and knit as many teddies as we can to donate to them.
The East Anglian Air Ambulance is a charity that does incredible work, playing a critical role in providing a rapid response in emergencies, 24 hours-a-day, 365 days- a-year. Covering Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Norfolk and Suffolk, they bring hope to the most seriously ill and injured people in East Anglia.
An experience that involves an air ambulance can be traumatic for anyone, but especially for children. Whilst it may seem unorthodox for a helicopter to carry knitted teddies, these can be given to children at the scene to offer comfort or distraction from the distress of a medical emergency.
These knitted teddies carry significant importance, which is why CamSafe has launched an initiative, hoping to raise awareness of their value. We are asking for donations of knitted teddies, which can be sent to our Newmarket office, or contributions to the work that East Anglian Air Ambulance carries out.
Bev Gisborne, Director at CamSafe says, ‘We aim to give back to the communities we serve. The work that the East Anglian Air Ambulance does is amazing and we’re especially happy to be supporting them.’
